AYYYYYY i'm back. So by the time i'm publishing this post, the first two weeks of fifth year were done and dusted. Still tak boleh brain i'm a senior already. Like there's no upperclassmen-we ARE the upperclassmen. Got a lil bit of culture shock when we came across the third years and they treated us like we're this...idk, a superior in intellect scholars? i mean, i get it. Used to see the seniors that way too. But little do they know we're just as clueless as they are HAHAHA. I, for one do not have any idea how the fuck did i get to be here. How the FUCK did i get to pass my fourth year and be here even? definitely not because of my superior intellect, lmao. its all luck, hunny. and prob a lil bit of studying done but that's a given lah. Honestly i still think that i got through fourth year with sheer dumb luck. flunked my o&g exam but i passed-for whatever reason that is. thought i could pass my psych exam-but actually failed-HAHAH thats fourth year for u. Anyways, just wanted to report how my mental state starting this year is loads different from when i was starting my fourth year lmao. I'm actually actively having fun rn, macam tak payah pro exam je kan next year HAHAHAH but its ok lah. When i was doing my electives everyone that i met-the doctors, the nurses, reminded me to have fun when i'm still a student because work life will rob that away from you. So honestly, getting into this year that is prob my sole goal lmao. Sure, i want to pass my prof exam and be a full fledged doctor, but i also want to have as much fun as i can in the process. I'm starting my fifth year with surgical posting, and for the past two weeks, we've been in urology rotation. AND I'VE BEEN HAVING SO!! MUCH!! FUN!! lots of time spent in the OT standing around being a benign tumor and clerking two patients max and then feeling tired and wanting to go home right after, but i liked it. The lecturers are super nice and chill as well, although ada la jugak kena 'you guys dah fifth year kan? you should've known this already. Dah nak exam ni,' when we were asked questions we didn't immediately know the answer of lmao but biasa la tu. bread and butter. sometimes fed up jugak nak mengaku diri fifth year just for that reason alone lmao. Lots of impromptu classes as well. Its easier to set up classes with the lecturers by telling them face to face instead of through whatsapp lol. One thing i notice about surgeons are that they're not very schedule people, ironically enough. they're more like on a whim kinda group of people. dislike schedules and routine? likes to live life like a free range horse? being a surgeon might suit u lmao anywayss thats it for now, see yall soon babez mwah mwah
