first-the way he treated neville, harry..can be seen as a bit unprofessional of him. he's a teacher, he shouldn't let his emotions cloud his judgement.

sec-j.k rowling ada cakap, kalau bukan sebab harry is lily's child, he won't be any remotely interested at him. he won't try to save his life-like he did, actually in later books/movies.

third-his feelings for lily-was not love, but infatuation. this pun aku ada baca kat certain website, didn't remember exactly where. when you love someone, you're willing to do anything as long as they're happy-but severus,he asked the dark lord to save lily, but not her baby (harry). something alone the lines of kill the baby, but not her..that's kinda..idk, a selfish act?

that being said i don't hate him. in fact he's one of my favourite character in hp..i don't have much reasons why though lol. maybe sebab aku underestimate dia and bila dia turns out to be someone i didn't expect to..

first-dumbledore; the character we all respect and adore because how protective he is to harry, a wise mentor figure. but in deathly hallows, we are shown the side of him we never known. he had been raising harry-like severus had said-like a pig for slaughter. and then apa yang dumbledore cakap balik? yes, "Don't tell me now that you've grown to care for the boy." 

sec-i can see why he absolutely loathe harry. he reminds him of lily, the girl he loved for years and will continue to do so until his death, the reason why she died in the first place. James-he bullied him when they were at hogwarts-i assume such treatment will inflict some kind of emotional hollows inside of him.. so imagine, the person you love dearly, ended up marrying the person who treated you rather really badly, the person you hated the most. like ron'd say-"One person can't feel all that at once, they'd explode." but maybe severus don't have the emotional range of a teaspoon. or maybe he did.

okay, my arguments are a little bit weak. you may don't like his character, but too hate him..idk kinda stretching? but each to their own, i guess.

seriously bila aku start nak rasa simpati dengan karakter dia ni ada jeeee yang nak convince aku 'noo snape doesn't deserve your pity' 'he's a lonely, bitter old man'

anyway post ni buat aku teringat how infp will secretly root for the bad guy in any movies? just because he has an interesting background story?
